The Hollies is a newly refurbished 'Victorian Gentlemen's Residence' offering both B&B and self catering accommodation situated on the north side of Appleby just 1/4 mile from the station.

Our dog friendly self catering lodge is a charming cottage dating from around 1890. It was built as a museum attached to the main house & retains some of its original pine cladding. It was refurbished for 2015. One double ground floor bedroom. Large open plan lounge/diner separate kitchen. Fully accessible wet-room.

Upstairs is a shower room, a flexible double/twin room, & a room with 3 single beds.

Sitting in 3 acres of grounds and woodland with spring and summer wild flower meadows, we provide the perfect base to explore by foot cycle or car. Secure cycle storage. Charging point for electric cars.

By arrangement you may join our B&B guests in the dining room to enjoy our locally sourced Westmorland breakfast.  Breakfast is not included in the S/C rates.
